I know this Internship fair on the career guidance session months ago. I was really interested and motivated to look for an Internship, so that’s why although I am alone I still come to this fair.
I have such a long time haven’t been to Osaka, my last time is with Ah Yee on the last quarter break, we have a great time in Osaka USJ. This time I was alone :’(
Anyway, staring at the sky and sea was such a great way to spend time on the ferry. It make me feel great. But the great feeling doesn’t last long, because after 40 min the ferry had to stop 2 hours at Oita to load passenger. Well, staring at the old and dirty port wasn’t any fun, so I went back into the open lounge to continue making movie.
After I done with a 2 min clip which took me 2 hours, I went to walk around. The walk only took me 15 min, and then I settle somewhere and start playing my DS. With the R4, I almost don’t want to sleep. Finally, I slept at 1 am.

I arrived at Osaka around 8.40 am, the ferry took 16 hour to arrive Osaka. It took me another 1 hour to reach the city center where the event held. But the entrance only open at 10.30 am, I still got one hour to spend, I decided to look for Starbuck and have a cup of coffee. Well, my plan doesn’t went well, first of all, I got no idea about the area, and suppose the Starbuck should be easily located at any corner of the street, but it wasn’t that case. I passby Hilton four times, each time different entrance, the main, side, back, and underground entrance and it was huge. After countless time spinning around the station area to look for the starbuck, I gave up. I got a can coffee from the vending machine inside the station. Then, I walk my way to the Event Hall. By that time, I finally saw the starbuck, but it was too late.
When I arrive the event hall 10 min before 10.30 am there was already a line. All the majime student in suit already standing there for a while. There is no one playing DS while waiting! I joined the line without taking out the DS just listen to my iPod.
By 10.30 am, the door open I guess it was about 100 people rush inside the reception. After filled in a form, I wait for another half hour for the panel discussion by the HRM of Suntory, Bandai, Tokyo Marine Insurance and Hakuhodo, an Advertisement company. From the discussion, I know that being interested is more important than have the skill for internship. Second thing is it is better to listen to as much companies as you can, because what you think is interesting for you it might turn out no interesting at all which lead to the high turnover rate of fresh grad, in the meantime, what might no sound interesting in your mind will not be the case. I took that into my note and paid attention in the future.
By 12.10, the panel discussion finished, and I had nothing beside the can coffee since morning. But I decided to rush to my most interested booth. Nomura Research Insituation. It is a consulting company, provide Management Consultant, and IT solution consulting. It had provide me some insight of the consulting job. It basically is what I did in the seminar, without the well written case and cheat sheet provide. The consultant have to process all the data by themselves. This company is my first choice.

By 13.00, I am no longer feel hungry. So, I decided to listen one more company before I went out for lunch. When the Bandai, Nomura Real Estate, Nomura Security were crowned, Japan IBM was able. So I took the front seat. Surprisingly, IBM was really a good employer. It ranked Top 5 best place to work for a few year by Nikkei Newspaper. I think this day, people like my had focus to much on the company like Google, Apple, which have huge growth recently, and think the old giant like IBM fell to the ground. I was so wrong, IBM might past it’s golden period, but undeniable it still a giant, 70 years old giant.

I failed the Ritsumeikan Exchange Program on the first round, skur them. Why they only pick 5 ppl to interview when there is only 5 room.

Stupid APU office,  I had enough.

I have to plan my day stuck in Beppu now, screw them.

8 credit one semester, there is many way to enjoy my life.  I will get a job offer by next sem. See me fly high. Achieve what I can in Ritsumeikan.

The promise to myself.

Before I arrive in Hong Kong, I had two meal in Cathay Pacific, it just taste the same as the one I had in China Airline. The Teriyaki Chicken rice is really nice, I think it was prepared in Japan FUK, so it taste better. The second meal is a Chicken Sandwiches, it was nothing special.

The first meal after I arrive is a local stall with the boss who don't want to continue his business if he could. I had the Wantan 云吞 mee. It was ok, the wantan is really fill with fresh shrimp and big. But the mee is totally different from what I used to eat in Malaysia. In malaysia, we usually use 全蛋面, but HK one is slimmer, lighter, much longer. More like meehun than mee.

Day 2, I wake up and want to eat 粥 and then we went to 旺角to look for the store Uncle recommended and Ah Yee was always being Ah Yee, she just bring me into a random store which have it, 粥. I had 皮蛋瘦肉粥，one of my favorite, in Cantonese is 下火. I dunno what it's mean, literately calm down the fire. And according to Hong Kongnese it help the man health. You know what I mean. Luckily it was good. Although the 猪肠粉包油炸鬼wasn't that fresh, the overall is good and cheap.

What is wrong with this earth? Is japan going to sink? What make 6 time 4degree earthquake happen in 24 hours?

Until now, I still can't feel safe. Is it only me still shaking or the earth is shaking? What is wrong?

I'm scare.

The earthquake can come at any moment, just unpredictable. and there is no idea how long it going to be. Even a minor earthquake, the moment it happen , it already drain all of my power. I am helpless and powerless under the movement of mother earth.

Should I just live like this is my last day? Everyday is my last day? NO WAY, I still want to play Xbox 360 when I free. And i just bought R4 card for NDS. I will save them until someday i am totally free, i dun want to die.

Did I mention the bloody red moon? It was on the first day night after we went out from home. I see the bloody red moon, which usually come out in the scary story. Like somebody will die at this time. it make me feel bad.

 Is that true that the huge earthquake with come and hit Beppu after a few small earthquake? Isn't that the earthquake is releasing pressure from underground than few small earthquake will done right?

Damn, level 4 earthquake and center is in Beppu 2km from where i stay, 10km depth. It was scary. After 3 time level 4, my roommate and I decide to go out and have "walk". We try to walk away from 8th floor where we stay.

In this earthquake, i found out that my room cannot be more messy. The hypothesis is, My room messy level is look like a disaster.

And i proved that even after the 4th time level 4 earthquake, my room still look the same. Cloths everywhere. Card & books, rubbish, everywhere. The thing still at the same place where they don't belong to.

Conclusion, My room is a disaster. I made a short clip for that.

Back to the 'walk'.
We moved ourselves to the nearest open area, the park.

I had brought my passport with me. But i forgot to carry my cellphone which i found it afterward it was under some fallen book. What i do remember to carry with me before i went out is the Nintendo DS. haha.

Within one hour , 2 minor earthquake happened. And i had had enough with the mosquito and already beat the Mario Kart twice. I decided to go home and write blog, which you are reading now.

Before i come to Hong Kong I thought I will shop like crazy, because since i plan my trip 2months ago, I stopped to by any other thing that daily necessary.


But after I arrive I found that if i convent HKD back to MYR thing will be very expensive compare to Malaysia, but a lot more cheaper than Japan. The thing is to convent HKD to MYR i have to divide the price into 2.  but for HKD to JPY, I have to times 60 times. So it is lot more convientant for me to just divide. And it turn out things in Hong Kong are not cheap at all. Well, in the end i bought less things than I thought.

Thing that i bought,

A Nike Shoe, HKD 480. After my Adidas weared for 2 year, i figure it out i need a new pair of shoe, and i got it in The Sport Shoe Street, and it was picked up by Ah Yee. It is a very nice Nike High Dunk.

A Gundam label FX creation bag, come with a useful environment friendly Bag, HKD 300.

A R4 card, HKD 288. Best product for NDSL. A must have, haha.

T-shirt, vest from 2 percent with VIP card, 40% off, HKD 300. Thanks yee.

This quarter break I think the airline company had a hell good of business.

My friend had keep moving around.
The further go to London. One to Taipei, some to Tokyo, one will come back from Canada, and I will go to Hong Kong.

With all different reason, people just keep moving around the globe. I truly feel the globalization happen around myself now.
If you able to move freely around the globe there will be a much better opportunity. I think I will keep moving now.
