July 30 Singapore NightAfter arrive in Changi Airport, with a lots of Indian in line to the immigration, we deposit our heavy Muji in the airport. Then, we moved to T2 for the local train (MRT) to go Bugis (EW 12). Bugis, Singapore, was surprising, it was dirty, no as much as Taipei Night Market, but it still dirty, where you can see some rubbish on the street and dirty water here and there, together with the Durian smell. (D24 for S$5) . We located the Bugis Backpacker Hostel without any problem, after we check-in to the very crowded 16 mixed bed dorm, we escaped from it. We went for a walk to the City Hall MRT (EW 13) which is one station away, where we discover SMU (Singapore Management University) and Singapore National Library, (where I am updating the blog right now, and Kanae doing her thesis.) We also passby a very nice hotel which I can’t remember the name but it got a Lamborghini parked in front of it. Then we crushed into the bar of the hotel and we discover the New Asia at the hotel 70 floor, which is also recommended by my friend and the guide book. But we got kicked out for the dress code.... Errr.... (Updated : I googled the place, it called Swiss Hotel) Anyway, we moved on and arrived at City Hall / Raffias Hall around 11pm, where everything was closing, even the StarBucks. Errr... We still walk around a bit, before we decide to go to the Hawker Center on the way back, where we found 1/3 of the customer are foreigner like us. July 22 Second to last ZEMIToday, I received a letter from Kung. I promise to tell you after graduation but we might not have enough time... . .. ... Son told that he wrote 社長 and that you told him the answer... Edison photo. Very impressive. -------------------------- When i was in High school, he is such a adoring idol. さすが私が好きなアイドルですね。 February 22 GlobalizationSo ------------------------------------------------- When I doing my reading about "Developing Global Executive" by McCall, Morgan. , half of those executives have some very special early experience. "My mother was Swiss and my father was Swedish, although he was born in South Africa. As a family we came to Switzerland regularly. I didn't feel special, although my background was remarkable... born in East Africa, raised in South Africa, my father an engineer building bridges" (a Tanzanian in Zurich)I couldn't know what the different between Swiss, Swedish and Switherland. All i know, they are just somewhere in Europe. In this paragraph if you want me to pin point them in a map, i can only point out South Africa. Another example from the book is, "My parents were highly influenced by education; they believed that things worked better abroad and they valued going abroad. It was put into my head that it was a good idea to go and see. And our business gurus had been overseas, so I wanted to do that. Another thing is that all my teachers had been abroad and encouraged us to do that" (an Indian in Singapore) On the other hand, other half of the successful executives hardly can point out they have special experience in the early age. One stated that "I grew up in Paris, Texas, where my grandfather ran a department store, there was nothing special. This Asian job was thrust on me. ... They needed someone who could survive" (an American in Hong Kong)======================================================================================== Anyway, what i think is really important for me, and other student in Tsun Jin or some other private high school are we really fortune to have a bunch of teacher who actually been abroad with a boarder view of the world and pass it on to us. And I was really lucky to been able to visit/ travel the world with my parent support. So far I have been travel,
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One more thing with more impressing for me is I suddenly realize that my ex-GFs' current living location have split over the world. I last met CYL in Taipei, Taiwan I last met Wen Hao, who currently finishing her study in Singapore, in New York . I last met Ah Yee in Hong Kong as she working hard as a fashion brand buyer. The world is flat. What can I say more? February 08 DamnWhat the hell. Why I have so many stuff that I don't want. F*** It make the place cram like hell. ARrrrr.... Why the Japanese house is so small! F*** Why the Japanese want to go through so many trouble to hire someone. Why they have so many stupid , idiot rule?! I will see how far you can go with those out dated damn rule. Chinese New YearThis year, I could not make it back to M'sia. Arr..... Just today, the chinese new year, I went to Fukkuoka for a job forum. Hardly motivated to become serious. =================================================================== Many of my friend are hoping to get a offer and then that's the end of it. No more job hunting.. for them. Wonder why they think like this. These day, I believe anyone can get more than one offer if they try a little bit harder. Anyway, long time no see for on this Blog. Hello~ my blog. November 07 Day 2....After so long. My goal for the next 3 hour.
September 24 First Day in WOw23th Sep 2007 I am not new to MMORPG, and not new to Warcraft, but I am totally new to World of Warcraft (WOW) The reason I writing this is to log down my Journey in WOW. A personal experience to MMORPG. In this log, I would like to share what it’s take to become a leader in Virtual world. And how I can reference it in my future/ real life plus Thesis. My character “Karage”, favorite food, is a Night Elves’ Warrior. The reason why I pick to become a warrior is because it’s much easier to survive alone as a warrior, since I have known none person in WOW. The first few quest was really easy. It’s mean to help the player get used to the Environment. After a few quests on the beginner zone it required me, Player Character (PC) to travel to another town. The game began with really simple command, Attack and Special Attack. After a certain level gained, I am available to learn some more command/ skill. As the game progress the skill getting more complex. In the game, it definitely encourage Player to make friends with other Player Character (PC) by forming a group to go for Quests and Duengone. The chances of survival will be higher if there is a balance team member. Goal for next game section:1. Attain Level 10 skills2. Join/ Form a Group September 22 ChallengeCycle 7 hours. 80km, 3.5 liter, 2 gift. 1 stop by police. 1 goal, Usa 宇佐神宮 That is what I have done for the last Thursday. I had challenged myself to the limit. To prove my physical, mental and stupidness. Why I am doing this? I dunno , I just want to do something like this when my physical allow. The first (9~10.30am) from Beppu to Hiji, the road is not a problem at all. Flat and smooth... The second part is the craziest, the mountain road all the way from Hiji up to Harmonyland. Died there. That's the point I want to give up.... (10.30~11.00) The third part where all i could see is farm land and rice field. No really big problem, just there is a lot of big truck. (11.00~11.30) And I don't know how far I get and how far is the meeting up point. I just keep cycle and cycle. With the wind blow from my back, and the road is rather going down than up, it was really enjoyable. September 13 Dreamer - INFP"Creative, smart, idealist, loner, attracted to sad things, disorganized, avoidant, can be overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings..."This is me. A Dreamer. I took this personality test from the internet site call, mypersonality after answering 73 question. This is me, Dreamer. I think I'm also an Originator, ENTP, when I stop dreaming and get the work start. Can't denial it, this test is quite accurate. Who are you? Hope I won't fall sick again.. September 09 DreamWhy do I dreamed that I have a pair of black wing? Do I like to be a fallen? Am I a fallen? If I were not a fallen, then what the hack I am doing? Try to get more attention? Try to broke up couples? Once I told my friend about that, she want to pray for me. Do I seriously need someone to pray for me? If there is angel, then there must have fallen. Isn't it? I know what I'm doing is wrong judge by moral, but what's wrong about following the feeling? Therefore I'm a bad guy?! The choice is up to me, good guy or bad guy? . .. ... .... ..... Probably in between is fine. August 22 Word to Malaysia.Today I did something usual, and something unusual. I surf. THis time not the internet but the wave. By the way, I set up a group on Facebook to support Namewee, in the same to Support the right of Free Voice. The freedom of speech. I have to agree the Malay is treated unfairly by our government. Have a look on the discussion board in Malaysia network, Facebook. People are discussing the race issue there, even there's Malay that agree with equal treatment. August 11 A quote to all of my TeachersA Teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.- Henry AdamsI really like this quote. And this is so true, I consider myself very very lucky to meet all of those great teacher. Around 10~12 year olds, I had a really great teacher who will call my parent if I did not do my homework, which I always "forgot" to do. Although she have 50 more student in the class, she will still care about each of them, include me the laziest student in the class. Really have to thank her to push me at the back. Or else, I dunno where would i be right now. During my Junior High, I had one teacher who can use the whole lesson to scold us, I forgot what is the problem now, but he just care about our class and somehow we disappointed him. I won't tell you his name, but I can tell you he have a very long neck. During my Senior High, I met Uncle Wu, a friend, a teacher, a mentor, a PK. In those day, i'm still in the laziest group of student, or should I say I'm too busy with other stuff. And I wonder why they always like to inform the parents when the kids didn't do the homework? He give a lot of effort to put the class into a great team, everyone is included, every member will support each other until today no matter what happen. I can see that the friendship, teamwork will never end, even when we get older. There are too many things to write. But in conclusion, I am very proud of it. In my University Life, I met Damon Drummond, he is nothing like other Prof. in APU. In his Seminar, I get more than I could imagine. The experience of working with a group of talented people, Deadline and DEADLINEs, responsibility and power, communication skill, joy and stress, movie &website making skill, last but not least, Lost & Survived in the mountain. I am the Survivor from DAIMON ZEMI>_<! By the way, I found the quote from a very nice book, {Tuesdays with Morrie; an old man, a young man, and life's greatest lesson} It is talking about a man revisit his teacher who about to dead. They talk about a lot of thing, such as Work , Family, Life, etc. (still haven't finish yet, but soon i will) Go have a look at it. |
